BATHING BEAUTIES?

Am I the only one who found it grimly ironic that the model selected to show Esther Williams’ “kinder, gentler” bathing suits (“Bathing Beauties,” by Barbara Foley, May 13) was so painfully emaciated that you could count the rungs of her breast bones?
