OXNARD : Police Arrest 4 in Burglary of House
Police arrested four men early Friday on suspicion of burglarizing an Oxnard house after neighbors saw flashlights flickering inside the house.
William Beatty, 20, and Eric Hamilton, 21, both of Oxnard, and Jackie Moore, 21, and Sam Borgens, 20, both of Port Hueneme, were being held Friday at the Ventura County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail each, said Sgt. Bruce Watlington of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.
Neighbors, who knew the residents were not at home, contacted the police when they saw flashlights inside the house in the 4000 block of Eastbourne Bay shortly after midnight, said Sgt. Bob Elder of the Oxnard Police Department.
Police said that when they arrested the men, they had liquor, a videocassette recorder and movie tapes from the house.
