World IN BRIEF : ITALY : 2 Seized as Spies in NATO Papers Theft

Italian police arrested a Soviet man and an Italian woman they said tried to sell a secret NATO document to Moscow, state prosecutor Ugo De Crescienzo said in Turin. The two--Victor Dimitriev, 46, an employee of the Soviet Ministry for Foreign Commerce, and Maria Antonietta Valente, 51--will be charged with espionage and could go on trial next month. Police said the woman, a 15-year employee of electronics giant Olivetti, was preparing to sell a top-secret NATO document to the Soviets.
