Braemar Camarillo, a development of 12 European-style estate houses overlooking the Santa Rosa Valley, opens today in Camarillo.

The four- and five-bedroom houses, by Agoura-based Braemar Homes, are offered in 10 French and Spanish provincial-style exteriors. They range in price from $595,000 to $745,000 and are offered in three floor plans with 3,274 to 4,004 square feet.

Features include lots averaging two-thirds of an acre, four-car garages, guest houses, dens and studios, multiple fireplaces and country kitchens with serving islands. First move-ins are planned for October.

Three model homes are open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1513 San Rafael Way, reached from the Santa Rosa Road exit off the Ventura (101) Freeway.

Chino Hills Homes

Costain Homes at Gordon Ranch, opens today in the Gordon Ranch planned community in the Chino Hills, with 160 single-family houses priced from $219,000 to $252,000.

The first phase of 12 three- and four-bedroom houses is offered in two-story plans ranging from 1,958 to 2,316 square feet, with such features as lofts, separate dining rooms, living rooms with wood-burning fireplaces, kitchens with breakfast nooks, master bedroom suites, interior laundry rooms and two-car garages.

A monthly charge of $27.92 pays for upkeep of a private park, greenbelt and tot lot. First move-ins are scheduled for December.

Three furnished models are open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 2557 Pointe Coupee, reached from the Chino Hills Parkway exit of the Corona (71) Expressway.

Duplexes in Corona

Monterey Village, a development of 134 duplexes by UDC Homes, opens today in the planned community of Sierra Del Oro in the Riverside County city of Corona.

Designed in a California Mission style, the first phase of 28 three-bedroom, two-story units range in size from 1,471 to 1,686 square feet and are priced from $169,900 to $226,900.

Features include two-car attached garages, concrete-tile roofs, formal living and dining rooms, family room, a loft, two bathrooms and a powder room. The monthly association dues are expected to be under $36 at buildout, with a pool, cabana and tot lot for exclusive use of Monterey Village residents. First move-ins are scheduled for October.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays at 1655 San Raphael, reached from the Serfas Club Drive exit of the Riverside (91) Freeway.

Escondido Houses

QueensGate, a Morrison Homes development of 75 single-family houses wired for a security and environmental control system, opens today above Lake Hodges in Escondido.

The first phase of 17 four- and five-bedroom houses in the gate-guarded community is priced from $465,000 to $515,000. Three one- and two-level plans range in size from 3,001 to 3,750 square feet. First move-ins are expected in October.

Included in each house is the security component of the Home Manager control system by Unity Systems Inc., Redwood City, complete with wiring and touch screen. Optional is that portion of the system that controls the temperature and energy efficiency of a house.

Standard features of the houses include three-car garages, three to 4 1/2 bathrooms, formal dining rooms, laundry rooms, ceramic tile entries, vaulted ceilings, oak cabinets and kitchen center islands.

Three furnished models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the northeast corner of Via Rancho Parkway and Eucalyptus Avenue.
