New Rules Affect Trout at Crowley

Share

Regulation changes go into effect today at Crowley Lake, restricting anglers to only two trout daily. Trout must be at least 18 inches long and taken only on artificial lures with barbless hooks.

The rules will remain in effect until Oct. 31, when trout season closes for the year.

There is no size or possession limit for Sacramento perch, another popular species in the eastern Sierra reservoir, but gear restrictions are the same as for trout.
