Two Ex-Hughes Employees Indicted: The Justice Department and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office said two former employees of Hughes Aircraft were charged with conspiring to defraud the Environmental Protection Agency by concealing information about hazardous waste accidents. The two, Robert E. Morrison of Longmont, Colo., and Jay L. Barnett of Tucson, worked at a Hughes Aircraft Missile Systems Group factory in Tucson. Hazardous waste was released into the environment from treatment units that the two men allegedly were supervising, the indictment said.
