Kit Lobell Named the 5-2 Favorite for Trot at Yonkers
Defending champion Kit Lobell was made the 5-2 favorite for this weekend’s $450,000 International Trot at Yonkers Raceway.
The 5-year-old mare drew the fifth post position for the half-mile trot. Berndt Lindstedt will handle the horse.
Kit Lobell, with a 15-11-7 career record in 48 starts, set a world record 1:57:25 for aged mares in the Stars n’ Stripes trot.
Reve d’Udon, from France, is the 7-2 second choice from the No. 2 hole for Sunday night’s race. The 7-year-old bay, with 11 victories in 20 races since 1988, won the European Championship in June.
Also entered are Meadow Roland, Mr. Lucken, No Sex Please, Tip Ouf, Yellowa and Bravur Sund.
