New Jersey Pipeline Bursts, Spills 84,000 Gallons of Fuel

CARTERET, N. J. —
A pipeline burst Friday at an oil storage facility, spilling about 84,000 gallons of jet fuel into a contained area bordering the Arthur Kill waterway. A Coast Guard spokesman said the fuel had not spilled into the waterway, which separates New York and New Jersey.
