FHP Foundation Gives $265,000 in Aid

LONG BEACH — The FHP Foundation awarded more than $265,000 in grants at its quarterly board of directors meeting. California Pools for the Handicapped, operating in Long Beach, received $25,000 in support of warm-water hydrotherapy programs for senior citizens.
Other local recipients included Young Horizons of Lakewood and the Los Angeles Poison Control Center. The Los Angeles Free Clinic accepted $15,000 for its medication information service.
