KCBS Host Takes City Media Job
Truman Jacques, a talk-show host on KCBS, has been named Inglewood’s director of communications, a new position created to improve the government’s image and its communications with residents.
Jacques, who will begin work Aug. 27, has been manager of public communications for the Southern California Assn. of Governments for the past four years and an associate producer and host on KCBS for the past 20 years.
“We are fortunate to have attracted a man with Mr. Jacques’ tremendous background and depth of experience,” said City Manager Paul D. Eckles. “I’m confident he will be able to expand and improve our efforts to communicate effectively with our residents.”
