BellSouth to Purchase Tekelec Testing Equipment

BellSouth Corp. will purchase telecommunications testing equipment made by Tekelec in Calabasas under a multi-year purchase agreement announced by the companies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Tekelec specializes in manufacturing products for testing and monitoring telecommunications products and networks. BellSouth, based in Atlanta, is the regional telephone company that serves the southeast United States.
