Car Plunges Off Freeway Onto Street, Killing Driver
A car plunged off the Harbor Freeway onto a city street Monday, killing the driver, authorities said. The vehicle went off the northbound Harbor Freeway onto Grand Avenue near 69th Street in South Los Angeles about 5 p.m. California Highway Patrol spokesman Vince Zambrano said.
A woman was killed in the accident, Zambrano said. Additional details were not immediately available. The outside lane of the freeway was closed for less than an hour after the accident.
