WORLD IN BRIEF : MEXICO : Hurricane Diana Kills at Least 23

Hurricane Diana killed at least 23 people this week, authorities said. The bodies of 19 who drowned were found near Huejutla, said Eduardo Cano Barberena, civil protection chief in the state of Hidalgo. Two miners were killed in another part of the state when their truck careened off a road, and two more people were reported drowned in nearby Juatla, Barberena he said.
