Blue Line to Expand Hours of Operation
Starting Monday, Metro Blue Line train service will be extended one hour, RTD officials announced Friday.
The last northbound train from Anaheim Station in Long Beach will depart at 7 p.m., and the last southbound train from Pico Station in Los Angeles will leave at 8 p.m.
Bginning Aug. 26 the schedule will expand an additional hour, with the last train of the day leaving Anaheim Station at 8 p.m. and Pico Station at 9 p.m.
“Many riders have expressed a desire for expanded service, and we are pleased to accommodate them,” RTD General Manager Alan F. Pegg said.
