LOCAL : Officer’s Bullet Strikes Partner

A Los Angeles police officer was shot in the arm by a bullet fired by his partner as they confronted a dog during a foot chase of an auto theft suspect early today, authorities said.
The wounded officer was taken to Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital in Inglewood, police said.
