Symbiotic Relationship: Sterling Microsystems Inc., an Anaheim computer company, said Monday that it has entered into a joint reseller agreement with Tricord Systems Inc. in Minneapolis. The deal is valued at more than $2 million, the companies said.

Tricord develops and markets network server equipment that Sterling will sell in marketing its computer network applications to business and engineering customers.

“Our agreement with Sterling Microsystems is another step in our strategic plan to develop a strong, competent distribution channel,” said Tricord President James D. Edwards. “Sterling’s goals for promoting networking applications are a perfect match.”
