The Bowers Museum in Santa Ana has received a $4,700 grant from the American Express Co. to develop programs that would foster better understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity, and to produce biligual material and new supplementary resources for teachers. Educational outreach programming is the major emphasis of the museum while its new wing is under construction.
