Two Sentenced for Insider Trading: A print shop worker and stockbroker who bought stocks based on tips in Business Week before the magazine hit the street were ordered to repay $28,655.18 and fined $37,444.57. The rulings against stockbroker Brian J. Callahan of Anaheim and print quality control analyst William N. Jackson of Long Beach were issued by U.S. District Judge Stephen V. Wilson in a civil insider trading case brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Judge Wilson also entered a permanent injunction barring Callahan from further violating securities law.
