Magnetek Inc.: The Los Angeles producer of electrical equipment and services for utilities and industrial customers said fourth-quarter net income soared 124% to $11 million, and revenue advanced 9% to $281.3 million. Net income for the full year climbed 81% to $33.2 million. Revenue increased 10% to $1.06 billion. The firm attributed the strong performance to internal cost reduction and growing demand for energy-related products and services.
