Shameful Records
The voting records of two of our San Diego City Council members are shameful. On Aug. 7, the council voted 4 to 2 to place Prevent Los Angelization Now’s initiative on the November ballot. San Diegans will not get a chance to vote on it because five votes were required.
In an act of political cowardice, Councilman Bruce Henderson left the meeting before this crucial vote. He is obviously afraid his constituents will learn about his pro-development voting record.
Councilman Ron Roberts also voted to keep PLAN’s initiative off the ballot.
Both of these developers’ puppets are up for reelection next year. They must be replaced before they can continue voting to destroy even more of America’s Finest City.
