* TASTE OF L.A.: Today is the final day of this annual festival at the Santa Monica Civic Center, featuring food from 50 leading restaurants, cooking demonstrations and musical performances to benefit the homeless. Pico Boulevard and Main Street, Santa Monica. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, $4 for children. Tastes of menu items cost $1 to $5.

* DISNEY PARK: Walt Disney Co. officials will meet Tuesday with the Belmont Heights Community Assn. to discuss a resort and theme park Disney wants to build in Long Beach. The meeting is set for 7:45 p.m. at the Recreation Center, 4700 E. Seventh St., Long Beach.
