Kathie Lee a TV Beauty: Morning show co-host Kathie Lee Gifford won TV Guide’s “Most Beautiful Woman on TV” survey by a landslide, but only after mounting a weeklong campaign. Gifford buried the competition with 17,796 votes, after “vote-for-me” pleas on her daytime show, “Live With Regis and Kathie Lee.” The two closest contenders--Jaclyn Smith and Nicollette Sheridan--each got fewer than 4,000 votes. Results of the two-week, phone-in survey appear in the current issue of TV Guide.
