Major Contract for Wang: Wang Laboratories Inc. said it has received a government contract worth up to $841 million--the largest in the computer maker’s history. The Lowell, Mass.-based firm will provide a wide range of computers, software and other services for the U.S. State Department during the next five years. Wang, suffering from a decline in the mid-sized computer market, lost $715 million in its last fiscal year.
