ANAHEIM : Volunteers Sought to Help Plant Trees

ReLeaf Anaheim is launching its second tree planting Saturday in its citywide effort to participate in California ReLeaf's project to plant 20 million trees by the end of the decade.

Trees will be planted at 418 N. Syracuse St. from 8 a.m. to noon. One palm was planted last month in the first tree planting sponsored by Anaheim ReLeaf in Stoddard Park.

Residents who want to help are asked to bring shovels.
