Man Sentenced for Setting Trap That Killed Burglar

DENVER —
A man who rigged a shotgun booby trap that killed a burglar was sentenced Tuesday to six years on probation and fined $9,500. Philip Connaghan, 46, of suburban Arvada, had pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of Michael McComb, 19, who broke into Connaghan’s warehouse last April 14.
