Police are looking for a man who robbed a Coast Federal Bank of $3,000 shortly after noon Tuesday.
The Latino, in his 20s, matches the description of the robber of two other banks and 10 businesses in San Diego since July 6, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
Witnesses described the man as 5-foot-9 with shoulder-length hair and a dark blue baseball cap.
During Tuesday’s robbery at the bank in the 600 block of Washington Street in Mission Hills, the man approached a teller, displayed a handgun and told the teller to put money into a small black bag made to be worn around the waist, Robinson said.
After getting money from two tellers, the man left through the back door.
