Hunting Down Logic as to Why Animals Must Be Killed to Live

Share

It seems like pretty biased journalism to have a pro-hunting commentary with no opposing viewpoint. We find Rich Roberts to be extremely uninformed. To say that wild animals would disappear without the “help” of hunters is ludicrous.

We want to see a commentary by Cleveland Amory, Paul Watson or Scott Trimingham of the Sea Shepherd Society.

And having any hunting news in the sports pages is a joke. Are we supposed to consider it a sport when men drive their Jeeps to a campground, get drunk, set up their telescope sights, wait for an animal to come around and stand there and stare the so-called “hunters” in the face, shoot the unsuspecting creature, have the game warden go pick up the dead animal in his truck, deliver it to the “hunters,” who get more drunk, go home, hang the creature’s head on their wall and call themselves sportsmen?
