KCEO to Broadcast Most Gull Games
The San Diego Gulls and radio station KCEO-AM have agreed to a one-year contract to broadcast at least 72 of the International Hockey League team’s 82 games.
Home games will be carried live. Most road games will be delayed until 8 p.m. on week nights, 9 on Saturdays and 6 on Sundays.
Gulls’ General Manager Don Waddell said the team picked KCEO “because we thought it was important to set the schedule, to be free of other conflicts.”
Waddell said negotiations are under way with TV stations to carry up to 20 games.
