Producer Don Was has given us the Igster we know (crude, rocking, brutal, with such guests as Duff and Slash of Guns N’ Roses) and one we don’t (sweet and introspective, with such guests as John Hiatt, B-52 Kate Pierson and David Lindley). The miracle is that sometimes we get both at once--a real achievement for the true Godfather of Punk.
