Corte Bella, one of the last residential neighborhoods to be developed in Irvine’s Westpark community, opens today with 260 condominiums and townhouses.

Developed by Newport Beach-based RGC--formerly Recreations Group of Cos.--Corte Bella was designed by the architectural firm of McLarand, Vasquez & Partners Inc. in a “Euro-Villa” courtyard concept that minimizes the presence of cars.

The 35 two- and three-bedroom units in the first phase range in size from 1,075 to 2,185 square feet and are priced from $175,000 to $302,000. The monthly association fee is $125, and move-ins are scheduled to begin in December or early January.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 15 Venezia Aisle near Harvard Avenue and San Leon Road, reached from the Culver Drive exit of the San Diego (405) Freeway.

Homes in Escondido

Montclair, the third and largest of three communities in Lomas del Lago Estates, opens today in Escondido with 248 single-family houses.

The 20 three-, four- and five-bedroom houses in the first phase are offered in five one- and two-story plans ranging in size from 2,543 to 3,500 square feet. Prices range from $335,000 to $480,000.

Features include three- and four-car garages, lots averaging more than 13,000 square feet and kitchens with center food islands and breakfast nooks. The 153-acre Lomas del Lago Estates development overlooks Escondido’s planned 18-hole municipal golf course.

Move-ins are scheduled to begin late this year, according to a spokeswoman for the developers, a joint venture of Lomas Group, Lomas Santa Fe Inc. and Tech-Built Inc.

The monthly association fee of $121.75 covers upkeep of the community’s tennis and swim club. The sales office and furnished models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. near West Frontage Road, reached from the westbound Via Rancho Parkway exit of the Escondido (15) Freeway.

Moreno Valley Ranch

Spyglass Hill at Moreno Valley Ranch opens today in a Moreno Valley development that features a 27-hole golf course.

The 29 houses in the first phase of the 55-home project by Lewis Homes of California have three and four bedrooms and range from 2,778 to 3,049 square feet. Prices in the first phase range from $288,990 to $415,990 and move-ins are scheduled to begin in November.

Three furnished models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 28354 Championship Drive, reached from the southbound Moreno Beach Drive exit of the Pomona (60) Freeway.
