Whittaker Corp.: The Los Angeles-based aerospace and biotechnology company announced net income of $4 million on revenue of $48 million in its fiscal third quarter, compared to income of $5 million on revenue of $44.8 million in the same period last year. The company said the figures reflect a solid standing after last year’s successful recapitalization effort.
