SFE Technologies Says Quarterly Loss Widened

SFE Technologies, a San Fernando electronics company, said it lost $1.55 million in the third quarter that ended July 28, compared to a loss of $338,000 in the same period a year ago. SFE’s sales fell 29% to $5.82 million for the quarter, from $8.15 million a year earlier.

For the nine months that ended July 28, SFE lost $4.07 million, compared to $899,000 a year before. The company’s nine-month sales fell 16% to $19.6 million, from $23.4 million a year ago.
