A jury in Covington, Ky., cleared two St. Louis Cardinals of disorderly conduct charges stemming from a May 19 brawl at a service station.
The Kenton County District Court jury deliberated a half-hour after the one-day trial before acquitting catcher Tom Pagnozzi and pitcher Frank DiPino.
Earlier a judge dismissed charges against Greg Mathews, a former Cardinal pitcher, who was similarly charged.
The ballplayers say they were coming to the aid of a woman who had been attacked.
