TEEN PREGNANCY: The increase in teen pregnancies in Orange County (E3), most pronounced in the Santa Ana Unified School District, above, is being targeted by private and public agencies, as well as by the schools themselves. . . . “There’s no doubt that sex education and information and ready access to needed medical services will decrease the teen pregnancy rate,” says Margie Fites Siegle of Planned Parenthood. The group is part of the Network for Family Life, which visits high schools, talking about everything from abstinence to AIDS.
