Mine Reclamation Teams With Browning-Ferris: The Norwalk-based developer of a landfill and waste-by-rail transport system has announced a preliminary agreement with Browning-Ferris Industries Inc., the large Houston waste services concern, to borrow up to $10 million in exchange for the right to obtain a 50% interest in the company. Mine Reclamation is getting permits for the landfill, to be sited at Eagle Mountain, an old open-pit iron ore mine in the desert 200 miles east of Los Angeles.
