J. E. Robert Co. Wins RTC Contract: The Resolution Trust Corp., in the largest contract it has awarded, named J. E. Robert Co. to manage some $2.4 billion in assets that were owned by University Federal Savings Assn. of Houston. The Alexandria, Va.-based J. E. Robert will be paid $21.8 million to manage the properties over three years and $19.6 million to dispose of the properties over that period. The RTC said the actual management fee and property disposition fee will depend on the contractor’s performance.
