Indiana Arrested: Robert Indiana, an artist known for his block-letter representations of the word love was arrested on a charge of hiring a male prostitute in Rockland, Maine, police there said Saturday. Deputies also seized nine nude male drawings from Indiana’s home on Vinalhaven, an island off Maine’s coast. “The only reason we seized it was for evidence,” Dist. Atty. William Anderson said. Indiana will be arraigned Oct. 3 in Maine District Court. The artist’s work will be on display Sept. 20-Oct. 27 at the Richard Greene Gallery in Santa Monica.
