The Martyrs Memorial and Museum of the Holocaust is looking for pictures and memorabilia to exhibit in its new facility at the Wilshire Boulevard building of the Jewish Federation Council of Greater Los Angeles.

The museum, which was established in 1978 by Holocaust survivors, has a 2,000-item collection of documents, artwork and exhibits devoted to the memory of Holocaust victims.

The museum recently received a $4,575 grant from the Institute of Museum Service, an arm of the National Foundation for the Arts and Humanities, to help revamp its exhibits and train its staff and volunteers.
