Fostering Foster: Oscar-winner Jodie Foster has entered into a deal with Orion Pictures, it was announced Wednesday. The two-year agreement calls for Foster to star in, direct, and/or produce films for Orion. The pact becomes effective Oct. 21, after Foster’s directorial debut on Orion’s “Little Man Tate,” in which she also stars with Dianne Wiest and Harry Connick Jr.
