Deadline Today for Senior Nominations

Nominees are sought for the Senior of the Year award, to be presented Oct. 10 by SCAN, a senior health care company.

The award honors a senior member of the South Bay or greater Long Beach who has made a significant contribution to older adults during the last year. Nominations may be submitted by any individual or organization. Nominees must be individuals over 60.

To nominate someone for the award, write to Jacqueline Rynerson at 521 E. 4th St., Long Beach 90802, or call 437-0251 for a nomination form. All nominations must be postmarked by today.
