GM Plans Recall: General Motors Corp. recalled about 29,000 Chevrolet Astro and GMC Safari vans and nearly 1,700 Chevrolet and GMC school buses--all from the 1990 model year--to check for leaking fuel return hoses. Involved are Astro and Safari vans with 4.3 or 2.5 liter engines and school buses with 6.0 liter V8 engines. The hoses could break and possibly lead to fire. GM will replace the hoses free of charge after owners are notified by mail.
