N.Y. Post Talks Sour: Negotiations between unions and the paper’s management soured Thursday, on the eve of a deadline the Post’s owner has set for closing the 189-year-old tabloid. Talks with the largest of the unions, the 352-member Newspaper Guild, collapsed Thursday but were to resume today. The Post wants $17 million in concessions from the unions.
