A portion of Ocean Beach, closed along with Mission Beach by a sewage spill Friday, could open again by the middle of the week after more tests to measure the water’s bacteria level.

The spill occurred when a pipe carrying sewage from the Point Loma treatment plant to Fiesta Island burst.
