Sir Speedy in Spain: Sir Speedy, the Laguna Hills-based quick printer, said it has sold its first European master franchise to a Spanish company. Ibercopy S.A. of Madrid bought the rights to establish Sir Speedy print shops in Portugal and Spain for an undisclosed amount. It hopes to establish 50 stores in the two countries in the next decade.

Sir Speedy also said it has sold to four Taiwan investors the master franchise to Taiwan. Sir Speedy’s first shop in Taipei will open in November.

“Next year, we’re looking to sell master franchises to Ecuador, Mexico, Germany and the Philippines,” said Ken Ross, Sir Speedy’s vice president of systems development.
