LOS ALAMITOS : Event to Focus on Military Retirement

Current and future military retirees and their families are invited to attend the 1990 All-Services Retiree Open House for information on services and assistance available to them.

The open house, which is generally an annual event, will take place Saturday in Building 6 at the Armed Forces Reserve Center at Lexington Drive and Katella Avenue in Los Alamitos. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the program will start in the auditorium at 10 a.m.

Guest speaker will be Cmd. Sgt. Maj. Douglas S. Russell, chief of retiree activities for the Army. A question-and-answer period will follow his speech.

At 1 p.m., the medical department at the reserve center will provide a health-risk assessment and various medical tests to those who attend.
