Terry Calvani, a member of the Federal Trade Commission, will join the law firm of Pillsbury Madison & Sutro on Oct. 1. Calvani will join the San Francisco firm’s Washington office, focusing on antitrust, trade regulation and consumer protection matters. Calvani was nominated to the FTC in 1983. He had been a professor of law at Vanderbilt University.
