Excalibur Files for Bankruptcy: The Excalibur Automobile Corp., which produces expensive neoclassic cars, has filed for Chapter 11 protection in federal bankruptcy court in Milwaukee. Excalibur President Scott Dennison said the West Allis, Wis.-based company filed to protect the firm and its investors from creditors while talks on selling Excalibur continue. The firm laid off the last of its workers in June, when it closed down.
