Jerome Baesel, former chief executive at the Newport Beach-based money management firm Edward O. Thorp & Associates, has accepted a post as assistant professor of finance at Chapman College’s School of Business and Economics. He is teaching courses in capital budgeting, financial decision-making and investment strategies.
