Hey, Mr. Weidenbaum, How About Children?
I am looking forward to more good news from Murray Weidenbaum on the ways in which individuals may climb out of poverty, “It’s Up to Individuals to Fight the War on Poverty” (Sept. 23).
Of particular interest would be a budget for a minimum wage worker who would like to eat, pay rent and support a family all in the same month.
Weidenbaum mentions marrying, finishing school and having a job as cures for poverty. Does he have any pointers for “individuals” who happen to be children?
