Moscow Joint Venture: Americom International Corp. of Irvine and Radisson Hotels International of Minneapolis have formed a joint venture with Intourist, the Soviet government travel agency, to manage an $80-million hotel and business complex Intourist has built in Moscow.
Under the joint venture, called RadAmer-Intourist, Radisson will manage a 430-room hotel and Americom will oversee a 170-suite business complex. The venture will be 50% owned by Intourist, which is building the complex, and 50% by RadAmer. Americom owns 80% of RadAmer and Radisson owns 20%.
The agreement is expected to be signed in Moscow within the next two months, said Bernard Rome, Americom chairman. Rome said the complex is expected to open next spring.
